Scope

Cherrington Plumbing is a small business in Westerville, Ohio, and this website is ours. This page applies to the site itself and everything you send us through it, along with what you tell us by phone or e-mail.

Use of information

Your details let us reply to you, schedule and do the job, and check in with you about it afterwards. We also use them for our own records, for keeping the site safe and for meeting our legal requirements.

Information collected

We collect information from three places:

  • calls and e-mails: what you tell us and anything you attach;
  • the contact form: your name, phone number, e-mail, where the work is (its address or ZIP code) if the form includes it, and the job details you give;
  • server logs: the hosting provider’s machines keep a note of the IP address, browser, page and time of each request, for security and so the site keeps working.

Use of cookies

You will not find advertising or analytics cookies on the site. Our hosting company may still set one cookie that the site strictly needs for security. It may also count page views without cookies; those counts are anonymous totals for each page.

Service providers and partners

Your information goes through the systems of the providers that keep the site, our e-mail and our request system working. If a service partner helps us answer you or complete the job, that partner receives the details the job needs. In addition, information may be released where applicable law demands it, or to protect anyone’s rights or safety.

Storage period

We hold information for as long as it is needed for your request, the work, our business records and our legal obligations, and then we delete it.

Access, correction and deletion

E-mail office@cherringtonplumbingservices.com or call (614) 426-1787 if you want to see, correct or delete the information we keep about you. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on the request. Using these rights does not affect the way Cherrington Plumbing treats you.

Opt-out right

Opting out: the privacy laws of some states give people the right to opt out when personal information is sold or shared. Those laws define what “sale” and “sharing” mean. To make such a request, follow the steps on the Your Privacy Choices page.

Data security

We take reasonable precautions with the information we hold. We cannot promise that it will always be safe, since every system has some risk.

Minors

This site is not intended for anyone under 13. If you are younger than 13, please do not send us information; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children of that age.
